Mt. Range Quilt Along - Week 8
Last night I sewed the last two seams of my Mt Range Quilt! It feels so good to get it done. I want to jump right into quilting it, but I have some other things I need to do first. You know, like work and baking a million pies for Thanksgiving. (We go all out on pie!)
That's all right though, it will be right here for me after Thanksgiving.
How is your quilt coming?
This week we are scheduled to finish off those last two rows and next week is set aside for sewing the rows together, if you haven't already done so. (Lots of people have been sewing them together as they go.)
When sewing the rows together, refer to the quilt layout on page 6 of the pattern and add spacer strips between the rows where necessary. Set the seam by ironing it while the fabric is still right sides together. This will help the seam stay straight when it is pressed. Iron the seams towards the spacing strips where possible.
