Quilting is always better with friends and a schedule to keep me on track. I regularly host quilt alongs where we will all work through a pattern together. Here are some past quilt alongs (free) and my 2020 and 2019 Block of the Month Clubs. Click on any of the pictures below for more details. Grab and friend, and get piecing!

There’s so much to learn and try! Take a look around and try a new technique or make a cute quilt. My most recent tutorial for the Scrappy Mountain Mini Quilt is my favorite yet!
It started with a doodle in church…
…and by the time Sunday School was over, I had a notebook full of half square triangle sketches. Solid on one half and pieced on the other.
When I got home, I drafted the foundation paper pieced Scrappy Triangles on the computer and spent a year posting free patterns for 6” Scrappy Triangles on my blog. (Download the free foundations here.)
Then I wondered how small I could go. Would it be possible to draft 1” Scrappy Triangles? Surely, not!
Well, it turns out you can! I drafted 1”, 2” and 3” foundation paper pieced scrappy half-square triangles and started selling the patterns in my shop.
Why Scrappy Triangles ?
Because they are fun! The foundations make it easy to sew the tiniest of triangles so they turn out perfectly every time. No frustration and seriously addictive!
Because you can use your scraps! One of the funnest parts about making Scrappy Triangles is digging through my scrap basket and choosing all the leftover snippets of favorite fabrics. That’s what being a quilter is all about - playing with fabric!
