The 12 month Quilty Chicks Block of the Month pattern is a 32 page 8 1/2” x 11” booklet.

Detailed instructions are given for 7 different chickens, a chick, and 4 flowers. This chicken sampler quilt is fat quarter and fat eighth friendly and easy to kit. The pattern works best with small-scale, tone-on-tone, and solid fabrics and is a great way to use the basics already in your shop.

Sample Block of the Month Schedule:

For the first 7 months quilters will make a two chickens a month with the same interior quilt block design, one left-facing and one right-facing. The eighth month they will make 3 chick blocks, and in months 9-12 they will make two of each flower type.
