Free Scrappy Triangle Foundations!
In the fall of 2017, I started playing around with these 6" foundation paper pieced half-square triangles and they were So. Much. Fun.
I made made them a in rainbow colors. It was so relaxing to pick through my box of scraps to find the perfect fabric for each block. These triangles are the ultimate in fun, relaxing foundation paper piecing.
Not only are they fun to make, but they are very versatile. So many different quilts are made with just half square triangles. I could substitute these into any of them. So many options!
I posted a foundation for these 6” Scrappy Triangles once a week on my blog for a whole year and they were available as a free download until fall 2024.
Now the Scrappy Triangle foundations are available as a paid pdf pattern and in a pre-printed foundation pad. The pre-printed pad takes away the fuss of printing, so you can start sewing and busting through your scraps. Yay!
But I still wanted to have a free version available! So I put together a free Scrappy Triangle Sample Pack. The pack contains 5 of my favorite Scrappy Triangle foundations and basic paper piecing instructions.
