Foundation paper piecing allows you to make the blocks easily and accurately every time. With With 150 foundations in this PDF pattern, thousands of different combinations are possible! When you join the foundations together, all of the seams are designed to match up perfectly, allowing mountains to continue without interruption from block to block across a quilt.

This pattern contains 150 foundations in 3 different sizes!
(50) 1” x 2” foundations
(50) 2” x 4” foundations
(50) 3” x 6” foundations

Each set of 50 foundations consists of:
(12) A single mountain peak per block
(23) Two peaks per block
(14) Three peaks per block

The foundations do not come with a pattern to make a specific quilt. There are so many creative options, I didn’t want to make it look like there was just one way to use them. Where to start? Make a bunch of blocks and start laying them out. Add background spacer blocks and sashing and see what you come up with. Try using large and small mountains in the same quilt. They would also be great to use in small projects like table runners or bags. The sky is the limit!
