Scrappy Mountain Range Quilt Patterns
They are finally here! The Scrappy Mountain Range Patterns!
After I released the Scrappy Mountain patterns, with individual foundation paper pieced mountains, people told me that they would like to be able to connect the foundations and have overlapping Mountain Ranges.
You asked for it, you got it! After well over 100 hours of drafting, editing, and testing, the foundations are yours for the making!
When I was designing the foundations, I went a little bit overboard. OK, a lot overboard. The Complete Mountain Range Bundle contains 228foundations! I really wanted to you have tons of options when making your mountains.
The first option is size. The foundations come in 5 sizes! 1", 2", 3", 4", and 5" tall.
What kind of foundations are included in each size?
4 stand alone (not overlapped) mountains in each size
6 types of overlapped mountain range blocks with right and left facing options
3 variations on each type of overlapped block so you can make each range unique
Simplified block options
In addition to the foundations, the patterns contain:
An overview of the different types of blocks
Tips for using the foundations
Cutting instructions for the background triangles
Plus, you have the option to print as many foundations as you would like!
The foundations come in a downloadable PDF file, so you can easily pick and choose which foundations you want to print.
There are so many creative things to do and make with these foundations! Laura volunteered to test out the Scrappy Mountain Range patterns and made this adorable zipper pouch! Cuteness overload!
Not sure where to start? Make a bunch of blocks and start laying them out. Add background spacer blocks and sashing and see what you come up with. Try using large and small mountains in the same quilt. Or use them in small projects like table runners or bags. The sky is the limit!
Head on over to the shop and check them out!
I would love to see what you make! When you share on social media, use the hashtag #scrappymountainranges so I will be able to find your pictures.
Have fun sewing!
