Scrappy Leaves Quilt Block Pattern

Let’s celebrate fall and make some Scrappy Leaves quilt blocks! I have had a lot of fun designing and sewing up these quilt blocks and now I get to share them with you!

I loving having lots of options when I am sewing and I think you do too! So this PDF pattern contains foundations for five unique foundation paper pieced maple leaf quilt blocks in seven sizes. They are a great way to use up scraps and are fast and easy to piece. Because the quilt blocks are foundation paper pieced, you don't have to fuss with making a bunch of half square triangles and your points will always be perfect!

This PDF pattern includes foundations for five different types of Scrappy Leaves (see pictures for examples of each):

-Solid Leaf (from one fabric - green)
-Scrappy Square Leaf (made from squares and HSTs - yellow)
-Scrappy Half Square Triangle Leaf (made with all HSTs - orange)
-Scrappy Leaf 1 (random scrappy pieces - red)
-Scrappy Leaf 2 (random scrappy pieces - brown)

Each type of Scrappy Leaf comes with seven different foundation sizes: 2", 3", 4", 5", 6", 7", & 8", making a total of 35 leaf foundations in this pattern. No need to enlarge or reduce sizing. Just print and piece!

Have fun making Scrappy Leaves quilt blocks and use them in whatever projects you desire!

-Add sashing and make them into a quilt
-Use them to make a table runner or wallhanging
-Add them as accents to placemats or napkins
-The sky is the limit!

The pattern does not include instructions for how to foundation paper piece. Learn how to foundation paper piece here.
