Setting Instructions - Scrappy Geese Quilt Along
We are almost done! You have already done all the real work and putting the blocks together will go quickly. The instructions are fairly straight forward.
Sew the blocks together into columns. Start with the largest 5” x 10” Scrappy Geese block and sew to a 4” x 8” Scrappy Geese block as illustrated above. Continue to add blocks from largest to smallest. Repeat to make 5 columns.
2. Arrange the columns so the direction of the geese alternate or go in the same direction. Sew columns together. Press seams open.
3. Remove papers.
4. If you want to make sure that the points of the Scrappy Geese don’t get cut off by the binding, you can add a narrow border around the quilt.
4. Quilt and bind as desired.
The winner of last week’s prize, a bundle of 8 fat quarters is …. Connie! Yay! I’ll be in touch.
But the prizes don’t end here. We have one more big one.
