Hello, Geese! Quilt Along
Hi! Looking for a cute, fast, fun quilt to make? I hope you’ll join me and other quilters in making the Hello, Geese! Quilt together. Let me give you all the details.
The Quilt Along will start on February 26th and run through April 2nd, 2021.
Here’s the game plan:
Week 1 - Pick out and cut your fabric
Week 2 - Make the large flying geese
Week 3 - Make the medium flying geese
Week 4 - Make the small flying geese
Week 5- Assemble the quilt top
I will be sending out quilt along emails and posting on Instagram throughout the quilt along. You can sign up for the quilt along emails here.
We will be using the Hello, Geese! quilt pattern to make the quilt. Included in the pattern are three different size options and two different fabric/technique options. Feel free to choose any of the size or construction options for your quilt.
To help keep us on track and excited, we are going to have prizes along the way! To be entered to win each week, you will need to post a picture of your progress on Instagram with the hashtag #hellogeesequiltalong and @leila.gardunia in the caption. Week 1 - Pick out and cut fabric

Week 3 - Sew medium flying geese
A Java Box, full of lovely batiks, from Cotton Cuts, who specializes in subscription fabric and thread boxes. In addition to the Java Box, they also have a Modern Maker Box, an Aurifil Thread Membership, and Cotton Cuts Classics, where the fabrics are chosen each month based on your preferences. (This week’s prize is only available to ship to US residents, sorry!)
Week 4 - Sew small flying geese

Week 5 -
Our Grand Prize is longarm quilting on your Hello, Geese! quilt from Trace Creek Quilting. Lilo specializes in edge to edge longarm quilting and is my go-to local quilter. In addition to providing free quilting for the winner, Lilo will also offer 25% off edge to edge quilting on any Hello, Geese! quilt she receives through May, 2021. Unfortunately, due to all the recent shipping delays and problems, Lilo is not accepting quilt tops from outside the US. (She wants to keep your quilts safe!) If someone from without the US is chosen, I will provide a $75 Etsy Gift Certificate.
